Hy ! I have Google Sketchup 8 PRO and I noticed something strange: in Entity Info, if I select a group (I was not aware if it happens to components too), sometime it shows "Group", other times it shows "Solid Group". Do you know what is the meaning of that?
      Thank you.

A solid Group or Solid Component is required in order to make use of the new Solid Tools in SU8.
See this Google blog post about solids: http://sketchupdate.blogspot.com/2010/09/introducing-solid-tools-in-sketchup-pro.html

So, my group has some extra, or loose edges or faces ? Hmm... πŸ˜’ I'm wondering if somehow this could be highlighted. In a intricate model is hard to discover where the evil is hidden 😑 .
But, i should not be worried, unless I use the Solid Tools, right?

Yes you specifically need solid object you don't have to worry.
If you do need a solid once, and you can't work out why it's not a solid, you can use this plugin: http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=323&t=30504
