Irritable problem with Orbit

Hi, I have a really irritable problem when I use Orbit to rotate my Sketchup model. Despite it's very small, it orbits in steps, not smooth as it always do. Any idea what could be wrong? Thanks!

My guess is that it is very far from the model origin. Or that there is some geaometry that is very far from the origin. Select everything with ctrl-a and move it back near 0,0,0. That should fix it. Upload it here if you keep having problems.

Thanks Chris. The Orbit tool worked fine again when I turned off the V-Ray plugin. But why this just when V-Ray is acitvated? Is there something in V-Ray that I could change to get the Orbit tool to work more smooth?
