      Hi all,
      Why after importing some 3ds files imported object is separated?

        I've run into that problem too. My solution has been to export from 3DSMAX as DAE file (Collada). That seems to import the geometries consistently for me into sketchup.

          thanks for reply.. I've tried the OBJ format, but it doesn't work for me....
          I'll try with DAE format..
