      Hi guys,
I’ve been having this problem while modeling in certain files. I was thinking that it may be a graphic card issue but I didn’t want to go buy something before I asked the question. It usually happens when I have a lot of geometry in the file. It will automatically show these crazy lines (see attachment) that are not selectable.
If anyone has a solution to this problem I’d love to hear it.
      Thank,
      David W

Here is the visual of the problem

        I'm throwing everything at this.
What viewing mode are you in? Would this be restricted to one of the orthogonal views? You know, top side front back. Or is this an effect in Camera> parallel projection, or 2 point perspective?-- in conjunction with the lot of geometry?
Just in case, check distance of model from 0,0,0. Check overall size of model, ie large lengths. Check also if you started with any imported graphics that you do not have imported blocks with distant origins?

Wait a while and someone will probably recognize this and have a solution.

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.

You can also unselect OpenGl as a preference to test if it's related to your grapic card, or driver.

Please post your model if the above suggestions don't work. Other wise we are in a guessing game.
BTW check to make sure you are not in a different context than shown lines
