Hi all, Have been using SU for a while now and have noticed my computer is slugish when working in Sketchup. Kinda slow to scroll and zoom (feels like you are zooming thruogh a solid sometimes and things that used to be easy now take effort. Does SU 8 require more grunt? I am using: a hp pavilion 2x2.5 gig, 4MB of RAM, NVIDEA G Force 8600M GS. I have installed the latest driver's for NVIDEA. Any ideas or suggestions? 😞

      Cheers

        Hi Stephen

You do mean 4GB of ram, not 4mb?

I assume you have 4 gigs? To make a mistake like that would indicate that you are not as IT savvy as others?

How full is your hard drive? Have you flushed your browser cache? What about checking your registry? Does this need cleaning out?

You have a pretty well spec'd PC. There is no reason why SU should be sluggish. πŸ˜„

Also check that "Use hardware acceleration" in SketchUp OpenGL preferences hasn't been switched off
