Take a look at this link (sorry couldn't make link, will have to cut and paste.

      http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=de0b8343ca83837d10e9e4b26dc01f&prevstart=84

Not familar with what this file? is (DAE, 3DVIA site) but the results are spectacular, but large files. Very impressive i think.

I'm using dae. They're a far better and more robust file format than obj imho. ☀

My book "Let's SketchUp!" Download from here

DAE is an XML based 3D format (GE uses it therefore SU uses it also). KMZ is a zipped folder which contains this DAE file, too.

Now 3DVia is a service for 3D presentation (like you can see with the example of a Roman Watchtower here). You can feed it with various formats - including dae (kmz) as well. Since SU 7 can import these files, the poster of that warehouse model probably means that now you can also download / convert to SU other 3DVia files (which may have not been made with SU for instance).

          Gai...

Thanks for the information. They seemed to be too good to be native SU.
