DAE and KMZ files

Not familar with what this file? is (DAE, 3DVIA site) but the results are spectacular, but large files. Very impressive i think.

I'm using dae. They're a far better and more robust file format than obj imho.

DAE is an XML based 3D format (GE uses it therefore SU uses it also). KMZ is a zipped folder which contains this DAE file, too.
Now 3DVia is a service for 3D presentation (like you can see with the example of a Roman Watchtower here). You can feed it with various formats - including dae (kmz) as well. Since SU 7 can import these files, the poster of that warehouse model probably means that now you can also download / convert to SU other 3DVia files (which may have not been made with SU for instance).
