Had anyone found a nice way to extract ZIP files via SU Ruby?

I recall that TBD made a PC only '.so' and there are also some zip methods available - e.g. http://sourceforge.net/projects/rubyzip/

I think it can be ported on OSX as zlib (library that I used in dezip) is available on OSX as well.
