Simple Shaderlight Render and FotoSketcher
-
The Shaderlight render was done using just SketchUp sun and moderate quality setting.
The fern stand and the glass case still need some wood grain materials and I ought to change the material on the Limbert table. I didn't draw it and the Prairie settle with the intention of them being in the same model. Tile is a material I created almost entirely within SketchUp. I only used an image editor to crop the image before turning it into a material.

No matter how you start, once you do start rendering there is no turning back. I like this look Dave, well done.

Thank you Eric. I think you're right about the rendering thing.
-
Nice, can you post shaderlight output too?
-
Thank you Rich. Here's the straight Shaderlight output.
FotoSketcher hides a multitude of sins but I do like the very subtly reflections in the glass. The bump on the brick and the tile seems to be alright, too. The overall room is lacking in style though.

This is very very nice. I'm impressed. Simple and clean composition, a few colors only, thats the secret of watercolor feel.
