Every time I open a new model in SU8, I have to go into the Model Info window and reset the snap to measurement. Never had to do that with earlier versions. I'm thinking I've missed making a global setting for that somewhere, but can't seem to find it.

May all your dimensions be the sum of their total.

        Jerry,

This is not a global, application level setting but model/file level. Make any changes you wish to keep at model/file level then save your (empty) file as a template under the file menu.

Now under Preferences > Templates, chose this new, custom template as your default.

Thanks Gaieus. Seems to have done the trick.

You could have opened your SU7 (7.1) template in SU8 and then made it your default template for SU8.
