Recently a coworker was going to a site to photograph it, and asked me about shooting HDR environment maps. I'm not especially skilled at this, mostly I've applied maps I found on the net and shot a mirror ball once or twice.

He was going with an 8mm circular fisheye. So I ran through a quick explanation of taking multiple exposures at each panorama stop and sent him on his way.

Either I messed up the explanation or he misunderstood me, but what he came back with was multiple exposures taken with camera pointed straight up. So I have an HDR file of a circular image - you can see 360 deg around the camera at the perimeter of the circle, and the center is blue sky.

Is there any way I can convert this to a format vray will accept for backgrounds and IBL?

      Thanks in advance.
