It's been a while since the last challenge, glad to say that Scottpara has kindly allowed us to use one of his models for this new challenge.

I don't have the time here at the office to let this run any longer but here is my first go at it.

I seem to have fallen and my head hurts...

            Chair loft chair party

Twilight + Metropolis light transport/50passes. Ceiling was accidentally hidden so there is more light than in previous scenes.

Ha ha. Here is another "run" at that setup. I changed the viewing angle and added a bit then let it run overnight.

Nice Gai. It is a bit dark and your brick bump is backwards.

Boring composition πŸ˜’ ...I'm working on my materials.

I made a bump map from the bricks, its attached if anyone wants to use it. For the newbies, I opened the brick texture in Photoshop from Sketchup's materials dialog box, made it grey-scale and increased the contrast.

Dale, I really like yours. THe materials are great! I love the floor, the floorboards, and the window frame, and the color hue and saturation - I think it is all perfect. Very nice!

@Gai & Eric, I've seen bricks get like that where they are not baked right and they wear down rather quickly, leaving the mortar exposed and the brick worn out between. Though generally speaking, I would agree its backwards πŸ˜„
