I dont have the bundles but I did notice that the on the arroway website, when looking for the samples, it does say that the material is seamless vertically.

I would infer from that they are not seamless horizontally.

Maybe not the answer you are looking for, but hopefully of some help!

That's what worries me, too expensive to buy without knowing, wish there was a way to buy single textures.

Does the material have to be seamless horizontally (across the grain)? Real wood wouldn't be seamless. I'm just asking.

I agree, but this is a veneer. πŸ˜‰

But is it supposed to be a real wood veneer or plasti-wood?

Which specific texture are you looking for?
Looks like I have Volume 1

                  Example: Wood-01 6002px x 6002 px or 83.351"x83.351" at 72dpi = about a 45mb png file

Antoine, if you can model a plane in SU 60 x60" and slap on wood 21 (great maple) and see how it goes, if there is any repeat to the pattern, tiling, I'd appreciate it.

I created the texture and gave it the 83+" scale. That makes it about a 6'+ texture...so it won't repeat on a 5'

If you like I can share jpg versions with you...they are still quite large though ~19mb...that way you can test it out yourself before you purchase. I can set up an FTP for you to pull it down.

Thanks for the test, looks about right, I will chat with my financial advisor (wife) about getting the bundle.

No need to go through the trouble of uploading, it's probably not allowed in any case, thanks for the offer however.

I can assure you they are pretty heavy files. I sometimes go to them for the range, but they can bog down really fast because of their size. I have even cropped a few down in the past.

I got their wood flooring bundle a year or so ago and agree they are huge, especially for SU, I normally use the bump map from the sequence in SU in order to get the texture mapped right, then in render studio I replace it with the diffuse and slot in all sequenced maps accordingly.

They are hands down the best textures I have ever used.
