Match photo + Vray :(
-
Hi all,
Here's is my first real post, please apologize for my grammar , english isn't my first language.
The problem: When using the SU match photo tool with VR rendering the picture doesn't fit the picture perspective and the photo doesn't show at all
My question: is it possible to use SU match photo tool and Vray render engine. Because from what i see the VR engine is changing the perspective i use from match photo option .Also it is not applying any part of my photo when rendering. Is there an easy way to do or do i have to aproximatly render a scene and try to photomatchit in PShop??? BTW am using SU pro 7 and latest VR version available.
Thank you
Good day to you all

Hi. This should work. Can you post an example skp file so I can take a look?
Your grammar is better than 99% of native English speakers by the way

There are a number of threads on the ASGVIS forum site (http://forum.asgvis.com/index.php?action=forum) about photomatching.
Photomatching can mean a number of things. Personally I just use it to set up the viewpoint etc of a model, but I don't 'project' the textures.
(I merge the finished render with the photo in a photoshop type program)If you have 'projected' the textures onto your model then to get vray to render them you will need to select each face with a texture on it and 'make texture unique' - vray will then render it correctly.

Thank you both for your anwsers,
So heres an exemple of what i would like to render with the match photo option(this isn't the real picture but i think you get the point:D) ,but side by side with the vray engine.

But that what it give's me instead

No background and not the same perspective.
So my question is: Am I doing it right or should i try something else
Btw David i read a lot of your post on the ASGVIS forum and on this one, they gave me a lot of tips for easier and better rendering.
Thank you again
