Auto-Renaming after creation of new group

problem is:
After creating and naming new group next selected object also renamed to name of new group (if new group created without name - selected object also renamed to "empty").

Is a BUG or FEATURE?

I am not seeing that. Are you sure it's not some plugin interfering?
However, I have seen other issues in regard to group/components and names:
- Create a component, and name the instance
- Create a group - an error message appear saying that the name must be unique (only occasionally occur)
Another issue:
Often when you click in the Name textbox in the Entity Info the Group/ComponentInstance takes on the name of the last item you named. this is similar to what you show in the video, but for me it only occurs when I click in the textbox. -
i use clean sketchup version without plugins
and as you say its only occurs when I click in the textbox (i need to naming all groups and components) -
