Cobra GT S Render Test

Nice, have you tried this HDR ? As said, the reflection of the mats must be improved...
-
Thanks guys, I'm trying out Composer which is a tidy little package. I'm gonna change the lighting setup as a previous render I did worked out much better from a material point of view.
Don't normally bother with cars but just want to concentrate on one topic to learn as much as possible.
@fred
is this the same one you shared recently? Either way I'll give it a whirl later. -
Still playing
-
Back again...
The wheels ended up too dull and HDRI used caused very pixellated reflections? But slowly learning more. Feel free to point out where improvements can be made.
-
I think more lighting overall would help as the much of the car is lost in darkness. Good work though, I really like the outdoor renders...keep posting!
-
I also have agree that while it's a good looking model, it seems a little dark. Maybe just a little more light. Not much.
-
Thanks for the feedback on the lighting it's definitely something I would've done.
But after spending a few hours texturing and tweaking and eventually saving it all went pear shaped! For some unknown reason when I reopened last night all materials were gone?
So its start all over again I'm afraid
I need as much practice and exposure as I can get anyway so it must be a sign???
-
Bummer. Hang in there.
-
The tweaking continues........
I've enjoyed this venture into car rendering and HDR lighting and all the help at the beginning was very much appreciated
Not to say this is perfect but it's been an experience
-
Ahhh, that's better!
A world of difference!
-
Why can't i leave this alone? Either way I'm not happy with the darkness at the foreground, and i've looked at this so long it looks worse with every blink.
This version has been PP'd a little, contrast and lighting effect
This is raw output[click to enlarge]

Nice! Think I need to learn how to render soon!!
