Many new modelisation functions (normal and exotic), an universal box manipulation, colors objects, and an innovative selection system!
You can select anything with a few clicks!

Could MOI be a good alternative for sketchup. As a landscape architect I'm mainly interested in terrain modelling capabilities. Is there some tools that replace the usefull sandbox in SU ?

Any renders can be used as you can export in Obj format (or SKP
(Ngons, Quads + triangles, triangles)
Works also fine with new real time render like Octane (GPU against CPU)Terrific! Nvidia! Very small price till 4 jun 49 €
Simlab Composer 2 render is also fine (you can create pdf3D ! For a very small price again)C4D(works fine with the Ngons), MODO etc...now price is not very small
Maybe other like Vue can be fine for landscpaping render tooThere is no yet special landscape function, but as you can "Loft" or "Network (grid curves)" any curves, you can use some landscape data.
It's not an alternative to SU but a complement in the tools box of the creator
