      Hi All,

Been trying to export my model so that CS3 will accept the model for animation. I export the model as a .KMZ file (to my desktop) but when CS3 loads the model there is nothing there.

      Any help is greatly appriciated.

      Regards,

      GO.

        Hi All,

Managed to convert my .skp to an .obj file and import this into PS CS3 successfully but there are no textures on the object 😞

How can I convert my .skp into a format that PS will except? (textures and all)

        Thanks again.

        GO.

Help here. This says you should be OK with PS CS3 Extended.

            Hi,

            Thanks for your reply.

Those links didn't really explain what I need to do in order to get my (textured) model loaded in PS. What I did learn is that I need to install Daz, load my model into Daz and export it from there. Is there no easier method? Yes, I could install Daz but it just seems to be a long winded way to go about things. Is there no sraight forward method to load .skp files straight into PS without the need to install this and that?

            Thanks.

            GO.

The second link shows a SU (Pro), OBJ export into PS CS3 (Extended version) with textures, etc. Did you use it to create the OBJ file? If not perhaps the translator used did not export textures. The link also states that SU (Free), v.7 KMZ files work with PS CS3 (Extended version).
