The interior skin was created with another program, then the entire model was imported to SU.
No, I have not used joint push-pull yet. (I hope joint push-pull is not expecting me to push-pull each face individually in this 3d mesh?)

"+join +push -pull" - everything including "pull" will be ignored. That's why it didn't show up in your search results.
