Are there any Fr Ted fans here?

Hi Guys,
I am a fan of the Fr Ted series which now shows on G.O.L.D. It's always good for a laugh when there is nothing interesting on TV even though I must have seen each episode multiple times.
Eugene's Bar in Ennistymon was the local watering hole used by the Fr Ted cast and crew while when they were filming the 4 seasons of Fr Ted. http://www.irelandwhiskeytrail.com/eugenes_bar_ennistymon_clare.phps
Eugene McNamara is an old school friend of mine and I often call in for a drink when in the Ennistymon area. The attached picture is an autographed picture of Fr Jack (Frank Kelly), Fr Ted (Dermot Morgan), Mrs Doyle (Pauline McLynn) and Fr Dougal (Ardal O'Hanlon).
He has promised me a coloured photocopy for the past 5 years, I live in hope!

I'm a huge fan and was devastated by the hugely untimely and premature death of Dermot Morgan - a genius who was only truly recognised as such after his death - his radio shows on RTE are eye wateringly brilliant and satirically unmatched.
I see "Mrs Doyle" Pauline McLynn is apperaing in Shameless on Channel 4 now - she's saying "Go on, Go on" to rampant sex in this show and isn't afraid to "get them out" - a far cry from the priests housekeeper role she played in Father Ted!!!

Oh yes...great fan. "Little cow...far away; little cow...far away."

The Irish equivalent of 'Fawlty Towers', a timeless slice of comic genius that'll be forever repeated, deservedly so!!

Here's a 'Best Of' that sums up it's style and humour

Did you know that the Fr Ted house is not on Craggy Island, its in North Clare. The owners now run a tea and sandwich business there catering for the fans. Some years ago I had my daughter home with her boyfriend and I gave them a tour of North Clare. I purposely drove past the house not making any comments. My wife screamed, 'Hey, that's Fr Ted's house, pull up, go on, go on, go on!'. I drove on saying that it couldn't be as its on Craggy Island. After a mile or so I went back! The next time I am in the area I must take some good pics and make a model!

Father and Son watching Fr Ted one evening when the son asks his dad,
"Dad is it true that Fr Ted is really dead?"
His father replies, "It is son"
"Is he in heaven daddy?"
"Of course he is son, he wasn't a real priest"!!!!!!
