      Is there a way to sort the Plugin pulldown menu?

        Yes, [unless they are encrypted then renaming the ruby so it loads at a particular time is the only adjustment], but it involves a lot of work...
        You can run a Ruby very early on which makes a set of sub-menus [$xxx] and then edit each of your plugins files menus and names so they load in the required sub-menus in a given order made by renaming the ruby with a numerical suffix etc etc...
        RickW at Smustard has a script to sort out plugins a bit like this... BUT again it has limitations and assumes certain 'set ways' of making menu items etc in scripts...

        So, the short answer == 'Yes' - the long answer == 'Yes, but a only if you want to do lots of work...' πŸ˜’
