More standard camera positions

Here is what I wanted to accomplish I started by using Chris Fullmer's center on origin plug, then I used a camera spin plug I found, Animation 2 I believe. I started the spin plugin, then started recording with Cam Studio. Since Cam Studio dialogs show up at the beginning and end of recording, I edited those out with a free video editor (at least free for now)called VideoPad from NCH .

Good start. Why is half the trike underground?
Like I wrote last night. You could do all that with native tools. It's nice to have the plugins though.

Well I think is is because of the center on origin plugin, When Chris says center on origin he means it. It would be an easy matter to move it up a few feet;)It also appears to spin in a downward if I do not center it on the origin, however I moved it up 2 feet and in one rev it still looks good and "flat" I will post that video after work to night.

There's no limitation on where the camera view is centered using the Position Camera tool. I used the origin in my example but it doesn't have to be there. You also don't need to use the center of the polyon for centering the camera.

where is this position camera tool? i can't seem to find it!

Well after some playin' around here is my first version.
Her are the problems I had, it is difficult to move the camera position tool, from a vertex to the center of the hexagon if you can't see the center.
The avi I created looked good, when I converted it to an flv for uploading the quality suffered. I think with some (a lot) of practice and patience I may get it right.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbJABSJ_AVM&feature=player_embedded -
You could temporarily hide the model so you can see the center of the hexagon. Then unhide it and update the scenes.

There is a duh moment for me, I hide and show stuff all the time when I am working on a model, never thought about hiding the model so I could see the center. At any rate I did one video show and it worked out OK. I wish I could find the best possible, set up for you tube. The link I posted for this thread was upload #3.
I will practice and get better. Thanks for your help so far.
