So I wanna put this video on my Walkman and it says the video types it can support are:

      @unknownuser said:

Transferable[Readable/Playable] files: ... Video (MPEG-4 Simple Profile, AVC(H.264/AVC) Baseline Profile)...

So that means I can transfer my video file that I recently downloaded right? But when I put it on it says "Video file type not supported". And on my Walkman it says the baseline profile says "AAC".

      So basicly I'm saying:

How can I turn my Mp4(Base line AAC) files to Mp4(Base line AVC). Does anyone know? Or am I gonna be featured on the "Some Funny Pics" thread again?

Try this to convert to MP4: http://www.any-video-converter.com/

...and I don't think you'll be featured on the Funny Pictures thread if you don't say something outrageous and expect everyone to believe it πŸ˜‰

I see your move there πŸ˜‰.

But on the site I found something that caught my attention:

.mp4 MPEG-4 files with audio and video.
          ...
          .mpeg MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 Video
          .mpeg1 MPEG-1 Video
          .mpeg2 MPEG-2 Video
          .mpeg4 MPEG-4 Video

Can someone tell me which one I need? Because now I'm REALLY lost πŸ˜•

Mpeg is like a jar containing different ingredients. If your device plays mpeg4 simple profile that is saying it plays the earlier type of mpeg, known as mpeg4 part 2. H264/avc is also a form of mpeg, mpeg4 part 10 I think, which needs more processing power to display video. You say your format contains aac. That is an audio format encoded within the video file so that might be your problem. Your device may not play aac. iPods lean towards aac for audio compression as it's best for quality/compression ratios.

I'd suggest having a look at Handbrake. It's free and has lots of output formats. Checkout Afterdawn.com for guides and tutorials on encoding video/audio files.

So your basicly saying my Walkman needs the Old Mp4 files, so now I have to get a software that converts the new Mp4 to the old Mp4 right?

I'm not suggesting it plays only mpeg4 simple profile but it might be the bundled aac audio in your file that isn't compatible with the device.

I'd look on the web for file compatibility associated with your device then choose from lots of free converter software that will do the work for you.

I don't use converter software, I let converter sites do it for me. But thanks anyway, I'll try it as soon as I can (I'm busy with my Walkman ATM).
