Wire Frame Render
-
Just a quick question, I have done some good quality renders with VRAY but would like to integrate them with some wireframe models.
Either together or as an overlay in photoshop after.
Is it possible to generate a quality render with vray or am I stuck with the low resolution / different field of view from the standalone sketchup?
Any assistance most appreciated.

Not sure if its possible to do a wire overlay straight from vray, but its pretty easy using the overlay method.
1.)Render your scene in vray.
2.) Go window->styles->straight lines->straight line 01px
3.)(optional)View->hidden lines
4.)File->export->2d graphic
5.)open your image in photoshop, use select->colour range to remove the white background form your wires image then position over you vray image.You need to make sure you dont change the camera position between rendering your image in vray and exporting the wires image, as otherwise it wont line up and will look rubbish. Using a scene here to save the camera position is a good idea.
If your feeling clever, its also a good idea to match the vray render resolution with the resolution of your exported SU image, as then overlaying the wire image is made a lot easier via the fact you dont have to line it up/scale it to the underlying image.

Hello there
Toon Material might be helpful if you want a clay render with wireframe
However,in 3.4 beta you can have another option called edge texture might also be helpful
