Scott,
Really great work on the kit. The detail on the dbl. base pedal is outstanding! What are you using for a working reference?

you crazy dude!! well done!! lovely details the chain looks sick!

Thanks for the comments everyone.
Dean,
I had the pedal right infront of me and for the most part I just used a ruler to measure things and estimate. Probably not the most efficient way, but i wanted to see if it was possible. -
A truly fantastic work!

I'm moving to detroit to take lessons from you! You modeling skills are awesome!
Do you make all the parts from scratch? -
Scott,
Cool - great to have the reference right in front of you. Does the 7000 dbl. head give you a single beat or is is slightly offset to give a double note? I have had my kit in mothballs for 5 years since I moved my sons to the attic. I opnly ever played a kit as a hobby, but I always wanted to give a double bass setup a go. There are a couple of other drummers on here IIRC - I think modelhead plays.
Again - really nice work - that pedal is a nice piece of engineering!

I missed this post, great stuff mate.
This is itching to be rendered, needs a good studio setup, maybe a Thea render.

I like your thinking... how about a whole band with group members mixed in...
Thus the gears start turning...
