I had the pedal right infront of me and for the most part I just used a ruler to measure things and estimate. Probably not the most efficient way, but i wanted to see if it was possible. -

Cool - great to have the reference right in front of you. Does the 7000 dbl. head give you a single beat or is is slightly offset to give a double note? I have had my kit in mothballs for 5 years since I moved my sons to the attic. I opnly ever played a kit as a hobby, but I always wanted to give a double bass setup a go. There are a couple of other drummers on here IIRC - I think modelhead plays.
Again - really nice work - that pedal is a nice piece of engineering!
