Move And 'Extrude by TIGS Edges' option button to Surface

Like a dynamic stamp.. Is sketchup powerful enough to real time this?.. maybe with a highlighted wireframe for the edges kinda like Fredos while moving the part edges, or perhaps rotating even. I did not even think but this but this is like Spaceclaim and ProE with their next best thing from years past!!

Thought Revision: Ok, when moving an object, the corner line segments cannot be selected, certain faces cannot be selected...Extra commands are going to be needed to stay organized like with some kind of synthesis selection command that automates or finds sticky geometry and groups only it and what is to be stamp or even draped across surfaces in with it...
