Who else is buried??...

Living here in Canada, I'd expect you to say I'm buried like a meter or two already. But thing is
THERE IS BARELY ANY SNOW!!!Canada, without snow. Sure sign of the end.

I read in the Farmer's Almanac back in October that it was supposed to be the "Snowiest Winter in x years between NY and Washington DC."
Looks like they nailed it.
-
Bit late, but we were relatively buried about a month ago here in the UK. Went to the peak district during the worst of it and there were proper 10 ft drifts in places i was well chuffed, as its the first time i've seen 'proper' snow.

We had about 24" the last storm here in SE Pennsylvania, expecting up to another 18" between now and tomorrow night. I was in a plow truck for around 20 straight hours the last storm and expect to be in a truck for probably 30-40 hours with this storm. I'm taking my camera with me and I'll snap some pics. We plow a big pharmaceutical company out here and ran our of room for snow with the last storm...tonight will be interesting. We may have to start hauling snow off site.
-
Good luck Adam.
You folks have gotten a lot of snow even for us.
-
Thanks Dave. Here's a few pics I snapped during plowing the last one.
-
Ditto to Adam. We are about 15 miles east and got 24" this weekend -- snowing now and predicted for 20" more. Should make for some nice pictures.
-
Nice pictures Adam. Kind of looks like what we've had since the end of November but we're used to that kind of snow.

I'm sorry Adam, but to me that looks really light. Then again I live in Canada FYI, if you multiply the snow there by 10x then it would be normal for me .

Here in Utah. .. Usually the home of the Greatest Snow on Earth. . .it feels like April rather than Mid-Feb.
-
Well, last weekend, we got 27" of snow. This latest one gave us 20". The winds are whipping around thus causing snow drifts. I didn't go to work today and highly doubt tomorrow either.
I'll venture out tomorrow with my metal detector and try to find the car.

Central PA - 100 miles east of Pittsburgh. Looks like it is finishing up with about 10" from the last 2 days on top of the 21" we got Friday/Saturday. Cold and windy making it very tough to get around. We usually get considerably more than they do in Philly or the Burgh - but old man winter is spreading it around this year.......Luckily the kids (teenagers) are helping with the shoveling this time around - my back has had about enough!

I'm in Raleigh/Durham and we get all of the same systems but live about 2 hours south of the freezing line in VA. So we've gotten all of the precipitation--but NO SNOW!! Quit hogging it up there and send some down to the Triangle, PLEASE!
-
Well we got only another 7" and the high winds that were being forcast never did show up, so we're starting to get back to normal, thank goodness cause I'm tired of shoveling. Adam, I hope the worst is over for you too, hopefully you didn't have all that time in the plow truck.

We haven't had this much snow in Southern Finland for years, by now nearly two feet, more in drifts. This winter is also the coldest since 1986. Luckily because of the cold, the snow is not yet too heavy, but I have read about some roofs collapsing, with luckily no human casualties.

They were right (channel 11 weather team that is) we indeed got snow today, been snowing consistently since 3am this morning (12 hours so far) and we have 8" accumulation so far.
Decent amount for Dallas I'd say, they say it should continue through the night so it means the Kids get a snow day tomorrow and with Monday being presidents day, they gain a nice long weekend...lucky bastards! -
Our brave little East Nantmeal Township got cited by The Weather Channel as getting the most snow in the Delaware Valley yesterday (26.8") which also means the most snow in PA. That's on top of 24" saturday. Not a pretty sight.
