Here is an example with just an image imported into my model. You can see a black line along the bottom.

        Can you post a screenshot?

Does it happen when you turn off Hardware Acceleration? (if it does - update your drivers.)

this is as it is shown on my screen, perhaps it is something to do with my drivers as you say?

Try to use the PrintScrn button on your keyboard to capture what's actually on your screen - and paste it into Paint or PhotoShop or similar.

I'm pretty sure this is a graphic card driver problem.
What graphic card do you have, and when was the last time you updated their drivers?

If it is different on the screen and in the exported image, it definitely sound like a video subsystem problem. On my screen, it looks just as expected.

Well i have turned off the hardware acceleration and the problem seems to be resolved, thanks! will this have an impact on any rendering that in do in the future?

As far as the graphics card is concerned i'm not sure exactly to be honest but probably a while ago... i was left with this old machine so have to make do!! i can ask our technical guys and this may solve the problem. Thank you.

Yes - it makes your CPU do all the work. It will be considerable slower. The real solution would be to update the drivers.

Or even a new card - in case it is really that old computer (although sometimes you do not want to spend money on an old machine any more - and most of the modern cards may not even be compatible with your motherboard)
