I'll leave you to scale and print off the labeled pieces... πŸ˜’

Tig-- I will send you some money for your efforts, Do I send it to "info@revitrev.org".
I do appreciate your time. However I don't think I can use that as its no where anything like the real Heli. That is why I posted the pictures of the one I wanted.
I didn't mean to get you upset either. I'm totally new to Sketchup and you guys obviously are not new. I could do the same to you and Show you how to fly a remote control helicopter and then ask you to fly it. Flying a R/C heli is as easy as riding a bike to me but some people never can learn.

The PayPal account is named 'info@revitrev.org' ... πŸ˜‰
If you were to explain clearly where these existing models vary from your 'ideal' concept then perhaps we could adjust one to suit you before we start slicing it up...
I did the quick slice-up of the unchanged download model to show how quick it was to do...
The modeling and adjusting take the time - the slicing takes minutes and can be adjusted to suit your needs - e.g. I suspect that you really only want the fuselage but not the rotors, skids etc as these would be modeled in reality without using 'slices'...
Why not get a premade skp heli and print a jpeg of it then mark it up to show what needs changing etc... It can't be that difficult to do this...

The only things there are the images of plans/elevations with a few scant dimensions - but what makes these so different from the SKP that I used ? Are you saying there are some dimensional discrepancies ? or somethings missing or added ?? or what ???

Yes the HUEY you used is excatly the way I want it sliced up. However the huey from the warehouse ( the one you used ) is no where near scale. If you look at a front view of the one I supplied and the one you used you will see a huge differance.

I'm using this to build a remote control UH-1D Huey helicopter, this will be a scale heilcopter. I need this to cut out formers to build a fiberglass mold so I can install my mechanics. Look at this thread and you will see why I need it to be exact. http://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=127202

i would have thought that if a guy had the skill to fly one of these Models and also the skill to make it from scratch. he /she might have the skill to make accurate drawings of what they need and post them to whomever was trying to help them with a particular modeling problem

but hey what do i know

I understand what you are hoping to do with the 'slices'. "What's up" = what is wrong with the existing models that isn't fixable ? IF you highlight what is needed to be fixed more clearly then perhaps we can fix it. To say 'it's no good' is not much help. but saying the fuselage should be 1'6" longer would be ! I realize you want to be 'exact' BUT what is 'exact' - give us some clues here man... Do you see what I mean ?

I've tried everything I can think of. If you guys say its so easy to slice this up then you come to Florida and work for NASA they need rocket scientist. Every time I use slicer it either says NO VOLUME and when it finally gives me the measurements to slice it up it just freezes my computer. So I must be doing something wrong. I just don't get how something that seems so easy can be so difficult... As far as the tutorials Nothing on slicing.....
                          Still looking for help.

                            Yes.
However the model is only about 4' long so what centers do you want the slices - you previously said 6" but that was assumed to be along the full size which was about 41' ?
It's metric too [though it's easy to swap to footric] so do you want 6" c/c or 0.6" c/c ??
                            I can do either...

EDIT: I apologize - I rechecked and it is full sized so I'll send it through shortly at 6" c/c...

Here's the model back sliced at 6" c/c [full sized].
The slices are laid out and numbered so it should be straightforward to reassemble.
84 slices ~8 minutes to slice...
The last slice is spaced slightly differently to fit the length - see the assembled set...
Now you have to print to scale - 1/10 or 1/12 ?
Good luck. πŸ˜‰Helicopter body shell by EliseiDesign.zipHelicopter body shell by EliseiDesign.png
