      Hello,
      I have a client that needs exports at 1275 x 675.
      My screen ratio gives 1275 x 703.
There are 42 scene tabs for one set, and an animation for another set.
My client came up with one solution: make the SU window size to 1275 x 675, then use “export at screen size”.
      Any other ideas?
      Thank you,
      Glenn

        Glenn,

Are you looking for raster export or animation export?

If raster, you can use layout to export your scenes. I have attached a layout file with the canvas formated to produce 1275 x 675 raster. Take your model and lay it across the canvas.

If you are looking to export an animation 1275x675, you can try programs like Sizer to help format the app window.

        Cheers,
        CMD

        will produce a 1275x675 image

          CMD,
Raster, but one set needs to have the extra images SU animation makes. My client is going to handle the actual animation export (I have to set the path). He is taking the jpg/png into flash for some added features. So, I’m thinking that set will need to be exported from SU.
The other set, layout would work. There was another thread I had about background transparency. The main problem, for me, to use LO, is there are 42 scenes. So I would still need to process each scene in layout or manually create a page for each scene. So, at this time, I’m cutting the background in PS.
Sizer looks like it will be very helpful, so I don’t have to manually drag the screen around.
Thanks for the reply & LO file.

            Hi Glenn,

I use Sizer a lot to scale my SU window custom sizes BUT you need to be aware of the toolbars.
What I do (and have been doing for very long now) is that I undock all my toolbars and put them aside of the main window. What a freedom (and of course, what a mess - but it is mymess and not what SU does when messes up toolbars).

              Gaieus,
              Good point, thank you.
I"m also looking at Sceneexporter Pro (I think by Rick Wilson?).
Do you know if that handles custom screen sizes?

I have recently bought it in a bundle but haven't played with it yet however as far as I know, it will only export the camera viewports.

But now as I am thinking about it - in LayOut (as you are planning to use it maybe), you can adjust your viewport to any size and when you export the image with transparent background, it's already a piece of cake to select the transparent channel, invert selection and crop to selected area.

OR you can install CubicPanoOut (see in the ruby library depot) and it will adjust your viewport width or height to any set size so you can export easily.

(Or render with Kerkythea or Twilight - I know both can export batch render at given exact size and also a clipmask render to apply in post pro - maybe other renderers can also do it easily.)

                Gai...
