[Wanted] TIps and Tricks for Non-Photorealistic Rendering

I am working on an SuWiki article on Non Photorealistic rendering, and I am stuck on the tips and tricks section:

The current Tips and Tricks sections just lists some other web sites to visit.

I would rather have 3 or 4 meaningful tips and tricks, but I am in the midst of a "non-creative" phase.

Any suggestions?
(Just send an idea for a tip, if you like, and one of us can help polish it up.)

(And, of course, any suggestions for improvements to the whole article would be appreciated. And, of course, if you would like to help contribute to either SuWiki or the rest of the SketchUp Sage site, add a comment on the Collaboration Page that you would like to help participate.
