This is more of a note to myself, as I'm sure I'll loose the yellow sticky note on my desk. But if people want to add to the list, feel free to do so. Could become a useful resource.
I had to work out this number in order to do a manual photomatch without using the PhotoMatch feature in SU.

Is the focal length calculated by photography standards? SU does not follow them. In addition to your view settings, focal length in SU varies according to your model window proportions. The focal length/field of view in SU is calculated in the vertical direction, whereas in photography it corresponds to the diagonal of the image frame. So a 50 mm lens is a lot different in SU than in a 24 x 36 mm camera that is the standard to which focal lengths are compared in digital photography

I'm guessing thomthom is talking about a standard 4:3 rendered frame.

            Yes, that is correct.
Sorry forgot to add that bit of info.

              Hi,

We are trying to implement a mobile web-app as a part of which there is a photo upload function which has to interact with both the file manager on the mobile device as well as its camera. Dow we have any options in this regard on prime mobile api.

              Thanks,
