i've made the top part a seperate group within the original group so you can change the orientation if you wish.

See this SU file for ideas.
For a pipe with thickness, use an anulus as the starting facet.
Just ideas.

It would be far nicer if you actually asked how these shapes are made and not ask everyone to always model them for you.

I don't know, Pete... This LF doesn't seem to wish to learn SU but just compiles ready made parts and keeps begging for what he still needs (and on top of that, he is behaving like this). No way to teach him to fish.

Sadly Luci this is not the first time he has bitten the hand that helped him, check his posts he has a habit of such behaviour, I guess sense comes with age.
