Help with surfaces

Hello everybody. Initially I would like to apologize for my text. I am Brazilian and I do not write well in English.
Well, I would ask, if possible, someone illustrated with pictures or a video, how to build surfaces using the line tool in SketchUp. I need to use the technique but I can not. Something like the image below.
Another thing I need is stamping texts in circular surfaces without using textures. Is it possible?

Have a look at some of the car modelling basics among these tutorials:
http://www.sketchucation.com/intermediate-tutorial-index/Indeed, such "organic" shapes are not easy in SU but with some prectice, you can get ever better.
Also, here is a tutorial about placing 3D text on a curved surface - you will get the basic idea and from there on, can do it on any kind of surface:
