      Hello everybody. Initially I would like to apologize for my text. I am Brazilian and I do not write well in English.
      Well, I would ask, if possible, someone illustrated with pictures or a video, how to build surfaces using the line tool in SketchUp. I need to use the technique but I can not. Something like the image below.
      Another thing I need is stamping texts in circular surfaces without using textures. Is it possible?

        Indeed, such "organic" shapes are not easy in SU but with some prectice, you can get ever better.

        Also, here is a tutorial about placing 3D text on a curved surface - you will get the basic idea and from there on, can do it on any kind of surface:
