I had textured a bed - with uneven surface with this texture map using projected texture. Looked neat.
But as soon as I exited the component it shifted. Then when I opened I shifted more. It shifted more every time I opened/closed the component.

Known bug - or "feature" or what?

How I'd go with this is to make single face of the size of the "projection" of the curved surface. Move this face inside the component. Texture it > right click > texture and Position first (do nothing but hit enter to execute). This will anchor the texture co-ordinates inside the component. Now again texture > projected - and now sample the positioned and projected texture onto the curved surface. You can even get rid of the single face after this.

          That's what I did... 😞

I had to redo it all over. I copied the geometry into model space - then textured it and afterwards making it into a component. Worked then.
Dunno what made it go funky the first time. Maybe because I was inside nested components?

Hm. I am not sure how it works inside nested components and where i anchors the texture when in several level deep.
