      I'm specifically looking for the 'force update' option.. i'm opening the object, and right clicking...and dont see any extra menu items.... what am i doing wrong? thanks!

        Hi,

        Are you trying to this on a group that you 'cut and paste'? Also, it won't work if you copied the proxy. It will only work on the original proxy.

        Can you re-create the proxy by selecting the group and running SDS again?

          ah yeah, it might just be a copy... that is probably what it is. I can run SDS again, but I've got another copy that I've cut pieces out of, and re-running SDS will make these go away.

          if i pull one out of the components menu, will that count as an original?

            Save your file before you try this:
            I think the best way is to explode the proxy, regroup, and apply SDS again. Then, it shouldn't mess up any of your other copies.

              right...that'd work... i'll just be more careful next time and keep the original safe and sound... first time really using the plugin for a project. thanks for the help.
