Newbie saying 'hi'
-
Hi everyone
I've been following the forum for a while. Seen some amazing stuff and learnt already a lot (but still much more to learn ...)
So, just wanted to say 'hi'
Since I'm a bit intimidated by the great work in the gallery-section, I'm posting a few of my works here in the newbie section. Everything is modeled in SU7 and rendered in KT
I'm eager to learn, so C &C is appreciated bigtime.
Here we go ...
(The kitchen tap is homemade, the rest of the scenes contain a lot of models I picked up from the 3d warehouse.)

I can't see the images.

Hi FlapSyd, may be something wrong during Image transferring. We can't see your image. Use Upload attachment at the bottom
Please resize them in order not to display huge pictures , you may display them directly using : [img]file.jpg[/img] after have made a link with uploaded file. (I hope my explanations are not to confuse)
You're welcomeMALAISE

Hi Flapsy,
Images fixed (if you don't mind me editing your post). Note that when you see your image "embedded" in a Picasa page, that's not the image URL yet and you cannot embed it here with the [img] tags.
Either you right click the image, go to "Properties" or something and find the image URL itself or right click and "Show image" (or whatever you have) until you can only see the image itself in the browser window with the jpg extension in the title bar. Now copy THAT and paste inside the [img] tags.
Anyway, back to topic, really nice start. Most of the renders are a bit grainy however (I know; "patience" ) and could use some soft shadows. Did you user MLT for the scenes in Kerky?

Sorry people ! Thanks for pointing out my mistakes.
I'll take more attention to my posts in the future.
Second try:
@Gaeius: that's the second beer I owe you
The renders are almost always done with MLT (I like that one a lot. Only pity it usually takes so long to render)
Concerning the grainy apearance: I don't mind that it's a bit blurry. It's a great way to cover up little modeling mistakes ...
I made for my colleague (it's her future bathroom you 've seen in the first renders) also a quick animation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfOWnMhpVYg
