Twilight render...

Just downloaded the demo....cooking my first twilight rendering. So far I really like the simplicity of this renderer and that it is fairly seamlessly integrated into SU. the intro price is such that I think I'd be silly not to buy it.
Any plans for future material presets or in general is there a method for adding more material presets easily....I guess I should read the instructions first ...but heck I always just start playing with toys right out of the box before reading the manual..

I must say I'm genuinely impressed.
I spent 15 minutes last night before I went home tweaking some materials, picked '09 Internal' for the render setting and went home....Bear in mind that is is a 60Mb sketchup model that has failed (for me) to render whenever I've tried before.

This is what I got after changing the exposure under camera settings.
More passes and better lighting would help, but damn! not bat for a 15 minute setup.

Can you remember what template you used on the timber benches?
Impressive after 15mins playing with mats and stuff.

I don't have SU open at the mo but the materials are something like this:
Windows: Architectural Glass - No shadows
Columns: Generic - Glossy
Wood: Generic - Soft? gloss
Chandelier: Metal-Copper
Ligtbulbs: 100watt
Glass Lamp shades:Frosted Glass
Floor: Generic - Soft? gloss -

Ooohhh yes...
And if you know a little about all the material libraries available for KT, you'll be happy to know that you can use all these together with the Twilight render...

How long does it generally take for orders to be processed?

Yes ... it is. You should include this info on the 'buy' page.

In any case, looking forward to using Twilight. Looks like it'll come in handy for fast 'n easy previz.
Edit: just read the instructions. Guess I'll have to haul my Mac Pro downstairs to hook him (her? it?) up to the net. grumble grumble

Interesting product Frederik. It seems like you've taken Kerkythea and streamlined it for sketchup users. I guess I couldn't ask for more! Kerkythea has fascinated my since the first release with "the new" studio interface, but I never got the workflow down. And with the introductory price it's a good replacement for my former skindigo workflow.
Is there any difference bewteen the portable version (zip archive) and the installer version?
Spændende app, Frederik. Det lader til i virkelig har stømlinet Kerkythea til sketchup brugere. Jeg har virkelig ledt efter en erstatning for min tidligere skindigo eksporter, så du kan godt regne med mig som kunde
Jeg har altid været fascineret af Kerkythea, men fik aldrig helt styr på programmets nuancer.Er der nogen forskel mellem installer versionen og den alternative zip version?

The Zip archive is for anyone that for some reason has troubles with the installer... otherwise... no, no difference.

If you are having issues with the self extracting installer, download the zip file and extract the contents to Google Sketchup 7 / Plugins, or Google Sketchup 6 / Plugins.

I am still in shock with the twillight, and not too completely familiar with Twi... even now I made the glass material inside the kt .. but hope that soon , be more familiar with the Twi.. ... I have lots of dream about it -

I've experienced that adding an interior light source will reduce the noise efficiently..
