Wow, it's great! What version of vue do you have? Pioneer, infinite, xstream, etc...?

s this all rendered with vue or have you done some post pro work in photoshop aswell? I would also be interested to know how long a render like that takes. Nice shot anyway and that bent palm tree is quality in the background lol.

              Thanks guys.

Adam, Yeah the tide is in 😒 , I used displacement on the ocean and it displaced a little higher than I expected.

Trillium, I usually render at a 16:9 ratio (1600 x 900) and I render normally under 30 minutes, yes all atmospheres are real-time preview.

              Sketchup-fan, I use Vue 7.4 Infinite.

Oliver, no real reason, this is just a quick illustration, lot's of mistakes and things I'd do differently the next time.

Liam, NO post work except for border and logo, the atmosphere, tones and color are all Vue. The original render is 1600 x 900 and rendered in about 20 minutes, the spectral atmosphere and visible sun through clouds slowed it down a little.

Where is the location of your render, and how can I book my next holiday there.

                    Blown away. Thanks for sharing

Have to say I'm glad that ugly stucco tower didn't get built! Vue seems quite impressive; the sky/clouds atmosphere are instantly believable. The palms have a somewhat 2d look to them, but overall very nice.

That definately proves that vue can be used in this sort of application. Great job

Is the structural engineer from Pisa? 😉

Great lighting and environment as usual! This might be a fun model to render in a portrait view to emphasize the height.

A great landscape, waiting for a big bang.... could be a solution to this pollution. But great lighting as usual pete. 👍

William, here are a couple quickie "in place" renderings done for the unrealized project. I like Pete's version much better 😉

Pete, it's great, modeling, render are really amazing... But don't you think that the field of the view show the building a little bit too bias ?
or maybe it's my eyes... 😕

I like it a lot Pete, great work!

The only thing that stands out to me first off is that the hotel / condo is right on the beach. Most of the time there is some hardscaping to ease you onto the beach area. Also, put a few folks walkin around, no sharks in the water though 😄

But, everything else is amazing, lighting and all, especially for no post processing.

Pete, outstanding work! I love the warmth that the sun brushes against the building. Just wonderful!

I don't think I find one item in a thousand of your renders that I don't like, but I do think that this one feels a bit too skewed.

                                          whitesandscondoSkew.jpg

Just a quickie transform in Photoshop, but it feels more natural to me. Nevertheless, your environment (color, trees etc.) and composition/framing is absolutely stunning - as usual.

In architect point of view, design of this bldg. is quite simple.
But when see ur presentation, it become very nice condo.
                                            So amazing to me. 😎
