I rediscovered the dragon illusion which I've always lovedand did wonder how it would work in sketchup - a quick google and guess what it is there already

Thanks for the link to the dragon. I just assembled one. There's a comment on that page that it needs to be lit from below. I found that to be true -- strong shadows on the dragon's head make it harder for the false perspective to kick in.
