just i said. doing texture in SU is much easier and less complicated comparing with UVW Unwrap and UVW modifiers in max. whilst i prefer texturing my models in SU then preserving them in max. by grouping them in texture, you can identify them easily in max even without converting them into editble poly and when you apply the vray material using the SU texture in diffuse

i use the same technique πŸ˜„

Great render, beautiful carpet. πŸ‘ Can we see the parameters of the carpet, please πŸ˜‰

      Working with: Win7 64 bit OS - Core i5 - 2,27GHz and 8GB RAM

hi sid. i think sometimes there are scene that you want to produce with huge number of polygons with high res textures, number of trees and number of lights. and we know that SU is still having difficulty in coping up. You know i just realized that vraymax is much much faster than vraySU.

Very good image and lighting. How long did it take for you to complete this scene. I meant only for render compare with VR4SU

honestly i found vray max much faster than vray for su in terms of render. the rendering of this higher subdivision is about 31 minutes as you can read below the image. and im really tweak this with higher render time of maximising the image sampler subdivision. my minimu material subdivion is 24.. comparing with vraySU i would say that the scene will be around an hour or more. not including the parsing time. with a huge number of polygons. VraySU parsing time will be longer inspite of the fact that texture are applied inside the group or even using the remove CGmaterials ruby.Because of this you will see more and more that i will render using VRAYmax. because i found the trick of exporting my SU model at ease with the workflow explained previously.
