Hi Fredo, great Extn. Im very beginner. Im getting a failure (me?). This object is 22mm diameter - hopefully the images speak clearer than I can. Im trying to round off edges highlighted in image below but to do so results in fill in or some other failure see other ๐Ÿ˜ž .jpg. Any ideas?

You can see in the image with green ticks it worked on a couple of edges. It works if I only select 1 or a couple of edges.

Actually... it worked great but also deleted the sides in the centre piece. I can and have fixed it easy enough but thought I would see if it was caused by something else i can do better.

You are running into the Tiny Faces issue. SU has problems forming faces when the edges segments get below 1mm. Scale your geometry up to do complex edits, then scale down again.
Or use the Dave Method of scaling a component instance up to edit then delete the large one and the small one will retain the edits.

I also waited if author of Selection Manager will reply and repair his stuff to make it working. I needed to save the selection to show you which edges I am planing to work. Without the selection this is useless to write to you. I have no way how to show what I am trying to do exactly. I wanted to use the Round Corners to round corners of the mesh bellow.

Now I tried to generate edge 1m offet and 1 side then 2 sides. All works fine.

Now I have added more edges with 3 sides and everything works fine. I obtained information when the offest 1.25 was too much and would create overlaps.

On the mesh I did succesfully 1st floor/elevation. Then I move up +4m few faces and I try once more to round the edges. Some gaps has been created on the second floor. I add the model.

During this test I have not found serious problems.

Previous job what I did was with file which was much more bigger. Same grid 5m spacing 1km x 1km (same texture) worked very slow. The problem was that when I wanted to select the edges manually red arrow suddenly appeared and I clicked it by incident. Because of it I suggest to have possibility - option do turn of some arrows which I do not plan to use. This would be solution for performance problem. With small objects like this there is no serious performance problem so it works nice.

This may be related to special characters in your username.

Could you replace the attached file in the Sketchup Plugin Directory, and advise if this solves the problem.

This is related to non-ascii characters in your username under Windows. For whatever reason, even with SU2017, this seems to create some problem when checking folders and files for existence.

UPDATE: All is fixed with the latest version of LibFredo6. Cheers!

                                  Please add 2 functions:

                                  1. Offset (without rounding)
                                  2. Offset with intersection (toggle)

These functions are necessary for constructing subdivision topology
(I hope you understand my idea, it's hard for me to explain the idea in a foreign language)
