Can i lock the toolbar?

exist a way to lock the toolbars? everytime i install a rubyscript my screen becomes a mess.

oh we wish you could.
nope there is not at this time.. it was suggested that running just less than full screen would stop the bars from messing up... it worked for me for a time.. now I'm back to the bars not going onto the same lines and on start up going where they want.
right now I've just thrown them onto my other screen... they seem to be behaving for now...

In theory i think its possible to write a ruby that runs a .reg file and sets all the toolbars back to where they were before. Its dangerous stuff, messing with the registry, though.

has a PC based registry hack to save and reload toolbars...
It works - I use it.
You need to edit some of the example files for v7; it works in Vista too...
You could also change it to only save toolbar stuff...
