How do I adjust the width of a logo in Layout?

Hi Folks,
I am new to LO, and I am trying to adjust the Document settings.
The existing logo is square and does not want to go rectangle shape.
Any help would be appreciated.

Which logo are you referring to? Is it a generic one from an existing template? You should be able to select the logo and then click and drag on an edge or corner to change its size. If you aren't able to change its size at all, check to see if its layer is locked. Unlock it by clicking on the lock icon.
