Luxology sent out this e-mail:
*Heads up! In less than two days we plan to release modo 401. This is important for a number of obvious reasons but we want to make sure you are aware of perhaps the most important one. This is your last opportunity to buy modo at a discount! Currently upgrade pre-orders are $295, once we release modo 401 the pre-order discount will terminate and the price will revert back to the original upgrade price of $395. Also, once modo 401 goes out the door a new unit price will be $995 so if you are itching for a new seat of modo now is the time. Don't say we didn't warn you! Over and out.

Hey stink, how much do you use Modo? I love it but I don't find much use for it at present. I really want to dive into it and learn more but cannot find the time.
Thanks.

Not that much yet, Eric. Not seriously, anyway - I 'play' with it almost every evening. However, from the looks of it, 401 will be coming in very handy for me. That bridge render I posted? Technically, that's a product shot - and Modo is very good at those. And it's just gotten a whole lot better. Me, I'm going to use 401 alot. My needs may be somewhat more, er, specific than yours, though. I have yet to see really good 'normal' archviz made (rendered) with Modo.
Does that answer your question? I'm quite frankly far too tired to think straight.

It does, thank you.
