Some Components missing from Vray Render image

Everytime i try to render an image from sketchup with V-RAY, for some reason there is a group of components missing from the rendered image even though they are there and unhidden. They also show in exported movie. but just doesnt render in Vray..... Please help me out...

What version of VfSU do you use?
If you're using the original then you need to explode and regroup. Or convert the Groups to Components.
If you're using the SR1.x versions then it should be enough to reopen the file.

i am using VFSU7 01.05.30
mine is a very large scene, and am also using Xref to keep things organised....
but even using the native import option ... some components dont render in Vray.
Please help -

Is it components - or groups that disappear. So far I've ever seen only groups that doesn't render.
(if it looks like it's components that doesn't render; check if they have groups inside them)Has any one of you an small example scene you can upload here?

i am using only components and no groups...
but my components are hierarchical.. means there are components in components inside components...
if i explode all ... then its hard to edit them... -
Important question: Does it render after the file is reloaded?
How deep is the nesting?
Do you have a sample file where this happens?

well I found out the cause and its solution..
In my final scene i used Xref manager plugin to Xref 7 files into one..
so after you add the xref links.... a dialog box asks whether IT SHOULD PURGE UNUSED COMPONENTS OR YOU LL DO IT MANUALLY.
HERE YOU SHOULD SAY NO.
hope this might help anyone getting the same error..
Dont let the Xref plugin Purge the unused components...
Instead before Xrefing each file purge unused components in them.have a nice time...

I have the question also about similar problem.. if anyone can help my ill be thankfull alot ... so when im rendering all the materials who are not in group are just deleted somehow.. so if someone knows about this kind of problem please tell me ...
