ANIMATED PEOPLE FOR SU
-
hi everyone,
anyone can give me a link for any type of animated people for sketch up...
i saw antics3d but unfortunately they are closed..
hope anyone can help me.
thank you

sketchup unfortunately doesn't support animated 3D people.
-
True but it could support it using the same method Scott L used for his game demo.
Ie If you have a set of stop-framed poses named Frame#1,Frame#2,... all inside a Group, a Ruby could cycle through the contents of the Group hiding all but Frame#1, then all but Frame#2, etc to give animation.

i think its vray for 3dsMax. Max supports animated RPC and such.

It gives me a "Not found" (404) error, too. I don't know what the problem with the website can be but maybe it's just temporary.

The model can still be SU and some animations in it Antics (it can do something I know though never tried).
Then it was definitely processed in a renderer which can "preserve" this kind of animation. Could've even me Max. -
Yep RPC in Max.

May 27 Ithil posted a very interesting bowling alley with very simple animated figures in the background. He never got back to describe how he did it.
