Texture size

Hi all, is there a way to increase the maximum texture size? 1028 is really limiting.

It is limiting! as is the limits on the resolution of imported images- i guess in a way it's the same limit

The original limit is 1024. However, you can use "Maximum texture size" (2048 - the double of the "original") if you set it in Preferences > OpenGL settings (maybe this is Windows only however).

I can confirm this setting is also available on Mac

Thanks, Dylan. I wasn't sure. Before SU 7 had this "improvement" and we used to be able to handle 1024 pixel images only, there was a "registry hack" to access 2028 pixel images but it was Windows only.

Good to know it works on Macs now, too!
